Front-End Web Development 

Front-end web development focuses on the visual parts of a website – that means the text, graphics, buttons, forms, and any features a user may interact with on the website.

Cyberbit Range

The Cyberbit Range was built by security experts to prepare analysts for real-life attacks, offering dozens of hyper-realistic cyber security scenarios. Each scenario teaches a set of incident response and cyber security skills, providing analysts with relevant tools and methodologies to operate a cyber-attack across a variety of attack scenarios, platforms and technologies.

UX/UI Design

Throughout our unique 8-week UX/UI Design learning experience, you’ll find modern, relevant curriculum carefully crafted to give you the skills you need to start your career as an entry-level User Interface Designer or build on existing skillsets to become a UI Developer, UX Designer, UX Researcher and more.

Class Schedule

Full-Time Schedule  

Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (EST)

Part-Time Schedule  

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday | 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm (EST)
  • One – two Saturdays per month | 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (EST)

There will be around 12-18 hours of work outside of class.

Computer Requirements

  • System requirements:  

    • Access to high-speed internet (5 Mbps+ up and down), but you’ll need more if you’re sharing your connection with others  
    • Latest version of Firefox or Chrome web browser   
    • You will want to clean off unneeded files before class to maximize your laptop performance during class and prevent interruptions due to lack of space  
    • Chromebooks will not work for our courses  
    • A 13 inch or larger screen is recommended. Multiple monitors are helpful. Note distance students get a second monitor as part of their care package.   

    If you have a Windows laptop, here is what you will need to be successful:  

    • At least 8 gigs of RAM (more is better!)  
    • At least 256 gig of hard drive space (80 gigs or more free)  
    • Intel i5 or greater/ AMD a10-7800 or greater (i7 strongly recommended)  
    • Windows Version 10  
    • Latest Firefox or Chrome web browser  

    If you have a Mac laptop, here is what you will need to be successful:  

    • 2015 MacBook (Air or Pro) or newer  
    • At least 256 gigs of hard drive space (100 gigs or more free) 
    • More to Bootcamp for Software Development course 
    • Latest MacOSX (High Sierra or newer) 

    DISCLAIMER FOR MACS: Apple has introduced a new M1 chip that does not currently support bootcamping to Windows and therefore will not be supported for our Software Development course.
