Why do you enjoy being an instructor at Eleven Fifty?
I love being able to meet new people and help them learn something new. Cracking jokes and getting to know people during our downtime is great too.
Tell us about your background in Tech.
I dropped out of Purdue and attended EFA back in June of 2019(full time). I started working a few weeks before graduation and worked for a year until I moved home to Long Island, New York, where I teach the part time classes here and do freelance software development.
When did you know you were interested in Tech?
I’ve always been into computers from a young age, but when I first got to EFA I asked my first question to Ransford (a former instructor) and he answered it so perfectly that I just knew I would love learning how to code from here. From there everything just took off as I got a job and started learning about all of the cool things I could make with those skills I’ve gained.
A fun fact about Nick!
I have the best Australian accent you’ll ever hear other than an actual Aussie talking.
