Describe your role.
I work with our coding staff to help ensure our classes run smoothly and meet the needs of our students as best as possible. I have a background in education, so I try to focus on instruction and ways we can continually improve our instruction. I also work with students to help ensure their experience is top notch.
What do you enjoy about your job?
Having been a teacher prior to coming to EFA, I am always happy helping support and lead our instructors at EFA. This role helps me provide support, assistance, and encouragement to instructors.
Why do you love the Tech industry?
I love that the tech industry is ever changing and pivoting when needed.
A little more about Mary…
I taught general and special education in the k-12 realm for 13 years prior to coming to EFA. I have a masters degree in curriculum and instruction as well as a masters level certification in special education. When I am not working in education, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, doing puzzles, reading, and playing with my adorable dog, Luna Lovegood. My family has a lovely vacation home in northern Michigan, so I try to get there as much as I can.
