Our Vision: to create environments that increase success for those currently under represented in technology. The under represented are those who identify as Black or African American, LatinX, Native American, Women, Veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Ways to Mentor:
Eleven Fifty Academy partners with businesses in several different ways. While partners like Indy Women in Tech (IWiT), Chase Bank, and the Indiana Department of Workforce Development provide our students with scholarship opportunities to aid in tuition costs, our professional industry partners deliver student workshops in the areas of Agile training, law, security, resume building, etiquette, and testing.
Eleven Fifty Academy is committed to the social responsibility of preparing coders of all ages and abilities. Our community includes supporters and representatives from the city, organizations for specific causes, and school systems. Our mission is to support coders throughout their journey while also coming together for a greater purpose to impact and support everyone. Community is where coders can use their skills to give back and educate others.
Each year Eleven Fifty partners with ICI (Independent Colleges – Indiana) to deliver a four-week coding program where college students learn relevant tools and coding languages to grow their skills. In addition, Ivy Tech College has partnered with Eleven Fifty to offer transferrable credits towards a certificate based upon completion of our program.
As a member of CIRR (Council on Integrity in Results Reporting), Eleven Fifty collaborates and provides transparent information related to graduation and job placement rates. Our continued alignment allows us to learn from the industry and better assist our students and graduates.
Course Report is a third-party leading authority on immersive technology education and is also a partner in reporting accurate curriculum updates and outcomes. Eleven Fifty Academy has been ranked a Best Coding Bootcamp by Course Report every year since 2015.
