Eleven Fifty Academy and Ivy Tech Community College announced a new partnership between their two educational institutions. Students in Eleven Fifty Academy’s Accelerated Learning Program, a 9-week immersive course encompassing one of the most in-demand skill sets in the technology space, can now earn credits at Ivy Tech Community College.
Coding 101 is now redefined. Eleven Academy students can earn 12 credit hours at Ivy Tech Community College for passing the intensive program which teaches not only the foundation of computer programming, but soft skill sets including: building a portfolio, interviewing techniques and teamwork strategies. Credits earned in the 9-week course can be applied to a degree or certificate in software development and other computing and informatics programs at Ivy Tech.
This new partnership between Eleven Fifty Academy and Ivy Tech Community College enables Eleven Fifty Academy students pursuing a computer programming career an accelerated means of earning their degree by incorporating one of the most advanced courses available in the United States for coding, accelerating them into the marketplace.
In addition to earning 12 credit hours for the 9-week course, students will achieve Red Badge Coder status by passing the 9-week course taught by Eleven Fifty Academy. The Red Badge Coder status is an emerging “Employer Advised” approach to measuring coder competency and skills. The classrooms utilized for the Eleven Fifty Academy accreditation course will be held in their new classrooms located inside Launch Fishers as well as their headquarters in Carmel.
