Throughout our 24-week Part-Time Web Development course you’ll find modern, relevant curriculum designed to teach the coding skills and knowledge needed to become a successful web developer.
Tuesday and Thursday nights: 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm
One Saturday a month: 9 am – 5 pm
Students will need to devote an extra 10-18 hours a week to this course in addition to face-to-face time. Students are welcome to come to campus to have a quiet place to learn outside of class time. Many students also form study groups with their peers.
Our courses are designed to get you the experience you need for a career in web development. You'll create a personal portfolio to showcase your new skills to employers.
Our career services team will help you make connections, develop soft skills, and assist in building your resume and LinkedIn profile so that you are 100% job ready after graduation.
Students are able to work on projects remotely throughout the course. Instructors are always available for one-on-one meetings or virtual office hours if you need any extra support.
During the first 6 weeks, you’ll focus on the basics of your language. This foundation will prepare you for more advanced projects throughout the course. We'll also help you develop a portfolio and learn about life as a coder.
During weeks 7-16, you will dive deeper into your language. Projects and labs are designed to give you even more coding experience as you design web applications. During this phase, we also encourage peer/pair programming, so students can work with each other to build out their solutions.
In the final phase, weeks 17-24, you will have a clear idea of where your strengths lie. You'll spend time working in teams to complete your projects, and we'll cover some crucial information you need to become a professional web developer. During this phase we will also help you finalize your portfolio.
