As the President of Eleven Fifty Academy, John Qualls is helping us grow as a non-profit organization committed to our mission. His background in leadership roles for multiple tech companies provides him with a depth of valuable expertise and experience which continues into his current role.
Prior to joining Eleven Fifty Academy, John served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for BlueLock, a cloud solutions and disaster recovery services company he founded in 2006. He also served as CEO and President of CVQ, an organization that designs, constructs and operates data centers. Before BlueLock, John worked as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for n|Frame. John is active in the professional and tech communities, having served as board member for several companies, including VMware and Techpoint.
John’s leadership background also extends beyond the tech world. Serving our country as sergeant in the Marine Corps for six years has given him the leadership and organizational background applicable to any industry. Additionally, his involvement with the martial art of Taekwondo, in which he holds a black belt, gives him the opportunity to serve as advisor and mentor to young learners. He enjoys spending time with his best friend and wife Jacqueline, as well as his four children.
Robert’s 30+ years of executive level experience continues with his role as Chief Operating Officer at Eleven Fifty Academy. He is able to draw from his knowledge of the ever-evolving tech industry and his extensive background in leadership to help us grow and advance our mission as a non-profit organization. His background began with Anacomp, where he served as V.P. of Information Technology, before moving to Chief Information Officer for Oxford Financial Group, Ltd. Just prior to joining the Academy, he served as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer for n|Frame.
Tiffany has had an extensive career in the tech world, beginning with her time at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where she was the second woman to graduate from their previously all-male engineering school. After that, her years with Motorola gave her experience in multiple tech-related capacities as well as business leadership roles. She also completed her Masters in Engineering Management during this time.
Jennifer has spent more than 20 years in the fields of leadership, training and project management. In addition to working alongside Eleven Fifty Academy instructors to establish relevant curriculum, assessments and certifications for students, she also interacts directly with students, making sure their experience at the Academy is positive and successful.
Jenn has served as Deputy Director of Medicare Training for Highpoint Global, where she led a team of 22 in deploying over 500 training products for 5,000 Medicare Call Center Representatives. Additionally, she has been a trainer for Angie’s List, where she designed and developed high quality training and certification courses for a sales organization of 1,200 people. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and teaching certificate in English and Computers from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She received her Masters of Science degree in Instructional Systems Technology from IUPUI Indiana University-Purdue University located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
As Director of Admissions for Eleven Fifty Academy, Melissa offers our organization a wealth of admissions-based experience, beginning with her time as Associate Director of Admissions for the Art Institute of Ohio, after which she served as Director of Admissions for Lincoln Tech. In addition to leading our Admissions Coaches, she also ensures the prosperity of our organization through her dedication to future enrollment and continued growth.
Stephanie helps Eleven Fifty Academy uphold its mission and values beyond our classrooms and out into the community through her role as Community Outreach Director. She draws from a diverse background that includes extensive marketing and management experience for retail industry leaders such as Barnes & Noble and Kohl’s Department Stores. Her past volunteer experiences also inform her abilities to lead our organization in community outreach.
