Press Release: Eleven Fifty Academy Announces Its 1150th Graduate

The nonprofit Eleven Fifty Academy announces a milestone: the Academy has graduated its 1150th student from its immersive bootcamps since inception over seven years ago in the home of prolific inventor and entrepreneur, Scott Jones. These graduates now represent over $50 million of annual Hoosier income, with average incomes that far surpass state averages.

InnoPower Minority Business Conference to Focus on Entrepreneurship, Competitiveness

Innopower founder and CEO Emil Ekiyor said the conference is especially important this year because it will help teach leaders, such as educators, entrepreneurs and investors, how they can uplift the most vulnerable populations, which disproportionately suffered from issues such as finding jobs or keeping their businesses open during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Accelerating the Generation of Wealth

The focus of this year’s InnoPower Minority Business Week is accelerating economic development and generating wealth in Indiana’s Black communities. The event will be held in June 14th — 18th.

Eleven Fifty is the recipient of the Enhancing Opportunity in Indianapolis grant from Lilly Endowment. Through its initiative, Lilly Endowment is awarding 28 grants totaling $93.6 million to fund collaborative strategies and programs focused on helping Indianapolis residents living in or near poverty make progress toward achieving lasting economic self-sufficiency.
